ICC Fire Inspector I (Exam ID 66): 60 multiple-choice questions, 2 hours, open book with ICC-referenced code books, minimum passing scaled score 75. Domain weights follow ICC's published outline. Confirm the current outline and code editions at iccsafe.org.

Where this applies. This course prepares you for the national ICC Fire Inspector I exam (Exam 66) on the 2024 International Fire Code and Building Code. ICC also offers a 2021 edition, local codes may be amended, and some states use their own fire-inspector certification, so confirm the exam edition and credential your jurisdiction or employer requires.

This is knowledge practice for the written exam. It does not replace approved training, eligibility checks, or any skills evaluation your certifying body requires. ICC updates exam code editions on its own schedule — verify the current Exam 66 outline and permitted references at iccsafe.org before you test.

What you get
