This site (Fire Protection Prep) and each course on it are owned and operated by DataPig LLC. By accessing or using them, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Study aid only. Every course here is an independent exam-preparation tool, provided for educational purposes only. It is not professional advice, and using it does not guarantee any examination result or outcome.
No affiliation. DataPig LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NICET, the ICC, the NFPA, or any certifying body. Per-course disclosures:
- Fire Alarm Systems Level I: Built to NICET's own Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) Level I content outline (updated exams released March 25, 2024): 85 questions in 110 minutes, reported as a scaled score with an immediate pass/fail notice. NICET certification also requires verified work experience. Original practice items — no NICET exam content is reproduced. NICET is a mark of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies; not affiliated with or endorsed by NICET.
- Water-Based Systems Inspection Level II: Built to NICET's Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (ITWBS) Level II exam on the NFPA 25 2023 edition (updated Level I and II exams live June 2, 2025): 168 questions in 185 minutes, scaled 0–700 with a minimum passing score of 500. Certification also requires verified work experience. Original practice items — no NICET exam content is reproduced. NICET is a mark of the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies; not affiliated with or endorsed by NICET or NFPA.
- Fire Inspector I: Built to the International Code Council's own Fire Inspector I (Exam ID 66) content outline: 60 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours, open book with the ICC-referenced code books, minimum passing scaled score 75. References the 2024 IFC and IBC. Original practice items — no ICC exam content is reproduced. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Code Council.
Intellectual property. The site, its design, original content, audio, and software are © 2026 DataPig LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. All practice items are original study material; no proctored exam content is reproduced. You may use the site for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.
Payments & refunds. Each course is a separate one-time purchase, not a subscription — you are billed once per course and never auto-renewed. Purchasing one course grants access to that course only. If you are not satisfied, you get a full refund within 24 hours of purchase — a person issues it through Stripe within one business day of your request. Request it in-app (Help → Request a refund) or email support@fireprotectionprep.com. When a refund is issued, paid access to that course ends. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Provided “as is.” The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataPig LLC disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes. DataPig LLC may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
